Therapie in het theater: Lea en Chris willen hun meest intieme verlangens, angsten en obsessies delen met jou! Intieme details over hun persoonlijke leven en de machtspelletjes van tijdens het maakproces worden wellustig tentoongesteld om een, enigszins bizarre, therapiesessie te simuleren.

Therapy in the theater – Lea and Chris want to share their most private desires, fears, and obsessions with you. Intimate details of the performers' personal lives as well as power games of the making process get lustily exposed in order to simulate a slightly twisted therapy session. Sources of inspiration were the booming blogger culture on the internet as well as excerpts from private email correspondence and personal diaries. The audience is invited to take a critical look at the therapeutic aspect of dance and performance.

Chris Leuenberger and Leena Keizer at Nederlandse Dansdagen
A new generation of choreographers will present itself at the Huis van Bourgondië – a breeding ground for young up-and-coming creatives in the city of Maastricht. Chris Leuenberger and Leena Keizer, received the ITs Choreography Award 2007 and 2008, respectively. Each year, these prizes are presented at the International Theater School Festival (ITs Festival) in Amsterdam.
Leena Keizer / “Forest Within”
Forest Within is about a woman, whom you can always see, but never really notice. In this solo production, you can witness her attempts to dance, tell a story and to escape. Fresh out of the School for New Dance Development (School voor Nieuwe Dansontwikkeling), which is part of Theaterschool in Amsterdam, choreographer Leena Keizer will dance the piece herself. The ITs Festival 2008 Jury feels that she succeeded in “creating an exciting piece that piques our imagination.”
Chris Leuenberger / “TRIP”
Chris Leuenberger, who graduated from the same dance academy, won de ITs Choreography Award in 2007. Using the prize money, he has created the new piece TRIP – a very powerful choreography that leaves the audience breathless.
