Last week we had the Bye Bye Party for Gonnie Heggen. Both a cheerful and very sad moment. Gonnie is leaving the SNDO, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She found her luck on Hawaii. Together with Mike she will live there in paradise where she can swim with dolphins and whales almost an a daily basis. The impact of Gonnie on the SNDO has been massive. Her Alexander technique sessions were more then just technique classes, her Gender workshop gained world fame and is copied a lot, her Movement Research classes were sharp, profound, clear. Gonnie was also a huge support to Gabriel as a member of the Staff team and one of the big forces behind the changes in the SNDO program over the last years. We will miss her terribly.
But has not her motto always been: "Break your habits" and "Change!". So, well, lets go for that!
