He came up with the idea of an artistic collaboration of eight young choreographers from Italy and eight from the <span style="font-weight: bold;">SNDO</span> (School for New Dance Development of Amsterdam). During the Operaestate Festival 2010 the sixteen artists collaborated in Bassano on site-specific projects. In order to discuss the first question, impact has been considered from thematic, social, cultural, political, economic, relational and artistic points of view.<br />In December 2010 the sixteen artists will meet again, in the SNDO’s studios in Amsterdam. The 16 will this time work together starting from their reflections of their previous encounter and they will be working toward a presentation at the Melkweg Theatre in Amsterdam. We are part of the same movement, fragmented and transported to the time still images became cinema. The members of the audition board (choreographer LaRibot,<br />de Melkweg-programmer Anita van Dolen, SNDO-graduate Noha Ramadan,<br />SNDO-teachers Gonnie Heggen and Ria Higler and SNDO artistic director<br />Gabriel Smeets) were impressed by the motivation and engagement of the<br />candidates.<br /><br />The technique classes were taught by Ayaovi Kokousse (West African), Keren<br />Levi (contemporary), Sylvain Meret (contemporary), the movement research<br />classes by Gonnie Heggen, Ria Higler and Paz Rojo.<br /><br />On day 1 and 2 the candidates showed the three minutes solo that they had<br />prepared back home.<br /><br />At the end of the second day only 33 people were invited to stay for the<br />third day. On that day the candidates worked with SNDO-graduates Lea Martini<br />and Guillem Mont de Palol on improvisation.
